MILLET PARK PLAYGROUND

Millet
Park, Innaloo.  Western Australia

The City of Stirling is the proud owners of the Largest Spacenet combination installed in Western Australia. The Corocord Large Spacenet Combination (Large and Small Spacenet) is both visually and physically stimulating for the residents in the City of Stirling. It catches the eye due to the architectural beauty and is the centre of attraction for children at Millet Park. It is majestic and simply awesome.

On the Spacenet, laughter fills the air as children race to the top, hang around, play games of tag, Marco polo or role play pirates from the lookout. ’Ahoy me Matey!’ The Corocord Spacenet unites the characteristics and advantages of many different pieces of play and sports equipment. Children are offered great space in which to exercise themselves, live out their fantasies, and train their spatial cognitive abilities and to learn how to handle heights without danger.

When climbing the Spacenet, children can always find a hand-hold in the regularly-arranged mesh. The individual ropes in the rope net are flexibly anchored, and break any possible fall. Although quite high, the rope pyramid structures and arrangement of interlocking meshes ensures that a fall height is always very minimal. Ensuring children experience height safely. It has become an important component in enabling children a world of experience.
