Cheltenham Community Centre

This playground was launched in December, 2005.

The playground meets the need of children 2 – 12 with both traditional and innovative new equipment. The clever use of mixed safety surfacing (recycled rubber soft-fall and chip) adds to the play value, protects high maintenance areas under the swings etc and allows for equal access.

The design incorporates art installations that celebrate the areas unique location with references to the adjacent rail line (the playground can be admired from the train), nearby race-course and industrial heritage.

Cheltenham Community Centre is a beautifully re-adapted building with lovely garden and picnic facilities.
